A private walkway connects Endeavor to other Nvidia buildings. For the 1.5-acre open space between NVIDIA’s two buildings, a dual-structure “treehouse” was imagined where staff can work from inside to out. A large, trellis-like shade structure covers the tree house, providing relief from direct sunlight and protecting the over 64,000 plants and 400 trees included in the landscape of its 4-acre garden. Lined in solar panels, the structure also generates power for the buildings.
Mission Bell provided all of the woodwork and millwork that lined the “bird’s nests” within the treehouse, which includes all of the seating areas, arbors and terraces to provide Nvidia’s employees with a beautiful outside environment to work in, perfect for Silicon Valley’s mild climate.
