Our Technology

  • Superfici sprays with 100% accuracy, increases capacity, and is safer for the environment.
  • How Mission Bell meets tight schedules.
  • 3D software clarifies the design intent
  • Our IntelliStore system manages inventory and prepares sheets for the production line.
  • At Mission Bell, we believe that innovative technology is important for our continued success. It’s expensive to manufacture in the Bay Area. That’s why we leverage technology to augment our capabilities where automation makes the most sense and utilize the talent of our millwork manufacturing team where craftsmen bring the most value.

In our manufacturing facility, we invested in an IntelliStore – a robotic inventory storage device – that not only manages our sheet inventory but, prepares the sheets for the production line. We’ve also acquired a Superfici finishing system, one of the first in the United States. The Superfici machines sprays with 100% accuracy, increases capacity, and is safer for our employees and the environment.

In our Engineering department, we are equipped to utilize 3D printing and virtual reality that allow us to confirm the architectural design intent and detect potential construction issues prior to manufacturing. We also use 3-dimensional software to visualize how products will be built. This software allows us to submit shop drawings that make it clear we understand our customer’s needs. It also increases efficiency by connecting to our manufacturing line, converting the 3-dimensional drawing into machine code for the manufacturing process.

Out in the field, we’ve equipped our install foremen with handheld computers that provide them with up-to-date plans while on-the-go. Our installers are also equipped with smart phones, making them reachable at any time. In addition, we are using a smart app that allow us to scan a physical space, getting accurate field measurements, that allow us to build to specifications.

These are just a few of the many ways we are using technology to make our business efficient and lean. Check out our videos to see how these technologies are impacting our business.
