Every company says they're serious about Safety. We put actions with our words. As a result, we were recognized by Cal/OSHA in November 2011 as a Golden Gate Partner for "implementing and maintaining an effective injury and illness prevention program."

Glenn Ripley, our President, is our Executive Safety Officer and personally oversees our Safety Program at the executive level. In fact, he became an OSHA-authorized trainer himself to better understand Cal/OSHA requirements and has personally trained many of our employees. All of our foremen have completed OSHA 30 and our installers have completed, or will be trained in, OSHA 10. Our Safety Director, James Hernandez, ensures that regular site visits and compliance documentation is in place.

How effective has our program been? Our recordable injury rate is below 2.0, less than half our industry's average, and our EMR is 0.91 and dropping.
