Udemy is an online learning marketplace where over nine million students are taking a wide range of courses from programming to photography.

In the heart of San Francisco, their new office takes up two floors in a mid-size high rise. Open offices, unique conversational spaces, and the warmth of wood make this space inviting and comfortable.

Exiting the elevator, you are welcomed into their reception area with a beautiful Reclaimed Wood Douglas Fir canopy. The reception desk, clad with white solid surface material, includes Reclaimed Wood signage that matches the canopy just over head.

As you walk around to their dining area, you are greeted with a matching Reclaimed Wood canopy that includes two TV monitors, a stage, and comfortable seating. Walk a little further and you will see a large open-space café with three hefty solid surface islands and a Reclaimed Wood enclosure for the lighting overhead. The space is livened up with zig-zagged upper casework and a 70's inspired back splash.

Lastly, serving the open space design, we built plastic laminate counters with metal legs along the parameter of the office. These counters overlook the streets below and provide a space for employees to build Udemy's online business.
