Mission Bell Lobby & Conference Room

Year Completed

Have you ever had a complex project with a high-profile client who had high, almost unrealistic expectations and a crazy compressed schedule? We have too! These are the projects that can lead to bigger and better projects down the line. Although they keep us up at night, they challenge us to be the best we can be.

When we decided to remodel our lobby, the stakes were high. We had four months before hosting 150+ CEO’s and Senior leaders from millwork companies across North America. Adding to the pressure, our lobby receives regular visits from the Bay Area’s top general contractors and architects, who are our most important customers. The opportunity to showcase our craft to those who matter most in our industry was vital.

The AP+I Design team hit the ground running and developed a plan that included a Reclaimed Wood feature wall, bench seating, a conference room, reception desk, glass doors, and various other details that make the space both functional and beautiful. With the tight schedule we knew we’d be self-performing a lot of this job – and running it through the shop during a very busy season. That's why our Preconstruction Manager, Engineers, and Project Manager worked closely with the Mission Bell Install team to make our vision a reality.

Right on schedule, our new lobby was complete and represents us well.

When the stakes are high, you need a team that is dedicated to make your project the best it can be. That’s exactly what we had on this one! Special thanks to Alex Raanes, Steve Riggio, Anthony Huffman, Armando Sanchez, Travis Carter, Kevin Shaefer, Nathan Fraley, Matt Olsen, and the AP+I Design team for making this dream a reality.
