Facebook is a social media giant, making people and businesses more connected than ever before. With more than one billion active users, Facebook is a place where users can discover what's going on in the world around them and share what matters to them.

Mission Bell was excited to be a part of the improvements to Facebook's Lightening Shack, a barbeque restaurant located at Facebook's headquarters in Menlo Park, CA. For the shack's dining area, we manufactured planters, a seating area, a divider wall, and garbage cabinets. Staying true to their core values of being environmentally conscientious, the garbage cabinets and planters were made out of Mission Bell’s Georgia Pacific Reclaimed Douglas Fir and the BBQ fixtures were made from our Ferry Morse Seed Barn Reclaimed Douglas Fir. Creating a unique finish for the planters, seating area, and divider wall, we wire brushed the wood and applied a light green wash. Additionally, we created several other garbage cabinets made from our Georgia Pacific Reclaimed Douglas Fir for other areas throughout Facebook headquarters.
