Rudolph & Sletten teamed with Gwathmey Siegel & Associates Architects to build this 100,000 square foot expansion. The project triples the size of the Crocker Art Museum, providing three times the previous space for the permanent collection and four times the previous space for temporary exhibitions. It also provides a 300-seat auditorium/lecture theatre and a cafe with indoor and open-air seating. The new building is physically separate from the historic Crocker Art Gallery so that the original building maintains its position as the centerpiece of the complex.

Mission Bell provided $1.25M of casework for conference rooms, restrooms and the auditorium and workstations for the office areas. Specialty millwork can be found in the beautiful reception desk in the lobby area and in the gallery as well as extensive trim throughout the project.
